Herbert asked me to publish this post. I don't actually know who Donna McCourt is, but apparently she thinks she's some kind of fashion designer? I know it's mad, you usually get fashion designers in New York, London, Paris, Milan etc...
Anyway, she doesn't pay anyone. Fashion designers, models, photographers. She gets everything done for free.
So your telling me Donna, in your 40-something-years existence you've never paid anyone? Do you go into Argos and steal a toaster? That's thieving WHICH I FRIGGIN HATE!!!
Donna runs this magazine that no one reads called 'Fab'. God, I bet you racked your brains for months thinking up that name.
Anyway Donna - your on my list...
I have worked with this woman and she is VILE she thinks she is some kind of super woman who really has NO clue in the world never mind the fashion world....so goodbye Donna and take that vile outfit (shown above) with you

ReplyDeleteThis is just a clear example of how people in the fashion industry get away with not paying people for their services. It's very hard in this industry and the people in it should be helping one another out not turning their back on them! Have some guts people and only work with people you get respect from and whom deserve respect from you!
ReplyDeleteIt actually gets worse! That fur coat that she runs around in was actually "borrowed" from a sweet old man for a "photoshoot". He had been keeping it in his freezer for years since his wife passed away until Donna McCourt got her grubby mits on it. She promised him she would return it straight away, but she just dodges his calls now, and has the cheek to be wearing the coat! I know a few people who have worked for her (unpaid) and have many, many more horror stories!
ReplyDeleteOh my! I have been googling this womans name for the last hour, and found this thread, this actually confirms it, she never paid me for some design work either! she needs a wake up call. I am now seriously annoyed!!
